Since July, ETRA has made space within its factory for a carton former.
With this new machine, the company has become independent in the production of packaging, which it can now make to order for each individual customer, with significant versatility – as regards size as well as quantity (even for small lots) – in addition to a considerable reduction in packaging time.
Thus ETRA continues along its path of expansion, from buying into the industry 4.0 philosophy – by integrating advanced technologies for increasingly automated and interconnected manufacturing – and constantly developing and boosting the efficiency of the internal supply chain – with the introduction of new departments, machinery and procedures – so as to improve working conditions and increase productivity, the quality of the products offered and direct control over the entire production process.
The final goal is to offer a product that is increasingly tended to in every detail, totally “Made in Italy” and directly meets all customer needs, even with respect to packaging.
